Creativity in musicians

although stereotypical, it is fair to say that most people agree that musicians tend to be the most creative people in the world. this of course is based off of the main two things; styles of music, the lyrics. hundreds of thousands of musicians all around the world take different approaches on all of these topics; some write love songs, some write songs of death, and some just sing about whatever comes to mind. the amazing thing about music, is any lyric can and probably is placed with nearly every style of music from country, to rock, to acoustic, to rap, to classical, to jazz. the varieties are endless, and this is without taking into the account that many musicians write their own lyrics and even though the topic (such as love) may be shared, artists particular style and lyrics can change the song from every other song about love. creativity in music is endless, it is impossible to run out of songs because of both lyrics, and cords; they can always be changed and formed into a new creation that differs from everybody else.

Creative writing

when teachers usually give paper/writing projects, it is on a certain topic. regardless, the writing demonstrated by each individual student who turns that paper in hands over hundreds words worth of creativity. papers usually with guidelines can limit the amount of creativity put forth by a student in their paper, however, every single word written by the student came from his or her own personal style and thought. this is what sets us apart from one another, we all have different ways of doing things; this to me can be a part of the definition of creativity. as we write, we gather our opinions about the text and or topic, and attempt to support it with evidence. creativity comes in play when we write, using both/either of these methods. although citing specific evidence may not necessarily be creative, the thought process that we write down to put evidence in our own words can very well be involved in creativity. our opinions, obviously, are creative as well because we are all capable of being pursuaded differently, but we all write and express ourselves in our own unique way.

does boredom create a positive or negative creativity

when people, specifically students, get bored the question "does negative creativity or positive creativity generate ideas" comes to mind. considering most college kids, such as myself, do absolute retarded things when we get bored, in my opinion the creativity is not always good. however, this makes me ask myself is there such thing as a negative creativity because part of me believes that all creativity, even if it could possibly get you into trouble, could be a way of practicing creativity. this, in a sense, could definitely be helpful in the long run. facebook, could possibly be one example in my life for this boredom. although this isnt creative, poetry that i write when i get bored could be the most creative example. i tend to write hundreds of poems to tiffany and maggie because they seem to be the only ones that give a shit. they are about thugs, sex, drugs, christina aguilara, asians, cameron diaz, alter egos, friends, apples, benjamins, the future, angels, escalades, chewing tobacco etc..

the creativity behind television

it seems to me that television shows these days are run off of pure creativity. even though the creativity may be the same as it was 15 or even 10 years ago, we as the audience have a different opinion on what type of television shows we enjoy. this means that the creative process used to come up with a television program has become more oriented with sexuality and drama. a perfect examples of this is shows such as the bachelor, the hills, rock of love, etc. the question behind the creativity of shows seems to have turned from "instead of how can we put together family shows", to "how can we generate more interest" and now a days that answer definitely seems to be through pure dramatic romance; because it is what is entertaining to us.

iphone applications

the other day i got my second, new iphone. while browsing through the application tab on my phone i realized how much creativity is involved in the application process. when it comes to apps for the iphone, there are many different people who would be benefitting from the creation of this specific tool; business owners, musicians, radio stations, and then of course just everyday people. games can be played, tools such as a level to measure if objects are straight are available, programs that recognize music if you cant think of the name, millions options for wallpapers, a remote for your itunes, youtube, social networks (facebook), the weather, email of course, workout programs, google earth etc.. all at the touch of the screen. there are millions and millions of applications available for all iphone users, which makes this program and phone the greatest in the world, and the best part is everyday people such as you and me could create our own application to benefit or to entertain others. some are free and some are a few bucks, however, the creativity behind these applications clearly has no limits and are available for absolutely anyone with an iphone.
