When my roommate Donovan and i first arrived to Millsaps College, like every other student, we had a bare, boring, room. We then decided it was our mission to have the best room in ole Becky Bacot. It wasn't cheap, but the process began. We started with bunking our beds... Unfortunately we had cheap medal bed frames, which refrained us from step one; however, we decided to drag our crappy bed frames into another empty room and swap for the wooden (bunkable) frames. This was the start of our "money blowing" adventure. After the beds were bunked, and space was created, we moved to the walls spending almost 200 dollars on posters (mostly of Marilyn Monroe). This im afraid made us second guess our little creative spree we were destined to complete because of the money we were going through. We decided to go on: the next step was the purchase of our amazing (matching) futon and curtains. This nearly completed our "best room ever," however, we were still missing something. We then frantically and partially satisfied began to search the World Wide Web. Nothing was appearing that fit of what we were looking for until Ebay provided us with the PERFECT ending to our dorm room. The blow up moose head mount is now centered dead abover our flat screen. Im afraid it defines us, and there has not been a single visitor who hasnt fallen in love with Edward since the day the newest member of our family moved in.

Edward looks an awful lot like a deer. He's a very cool moose/deer head, though. Now I want an Edward.
ReplyDeleteNasty you are so right, what can be better than a blow up moose. I think that decorating your room is a great way to express your creativity. Different people have different ways of expressing themselves and for you to put up a blow up moose on your wall is one way that you express yourself.I have been in your room and Edward does bring the whole room together. I also like all the other pictures in your room especially the one over your computer. SAINT LOUIS 09!!!!!!!
